Medicare is Australia’s universal health insurance scheme. It guarantees all Australians (and some overseas visitors) access to a wide range of health and hospital services at low or no cost.

How to apply medicare online?

1. Download the Medicare Application form and guide above and follow the steps.
2. Please prepare a digital copy of the requirements for application:
- Passport
- European Health Card or your National Insurance Health Card
- Visa Grant which is in your email
- Drivers License
- Your flight boarding pass or flight ticket to Australia.
3. Once you have filled up the application form send an email to [email protected] attach all the digital copies of the requirements as well as the application form. (You can print the application form and take a clear photo of it.)
4. In the SUBJECT of the email please put your FULL NAME followed by Medicare Application.
Ex. ( Mr. John Smith Medicare Application)
5. Send the email and wait for the card to arrive we will let you know once it arrives, we will ask for your current address and forward it to you.
IMPORTANT NOTES TO REMEMBER:
This may take at least 6 months for them to process or more. If you want to see a doctor, please let them know that you have already applied and show your passport. To track the progress of your application you may give them a call at 132 011. Unfortunately, we cannot do this for you because of the Data Privacy. But you can contact AWA ADMIN in WhatsApp if we have received any Medicare Card.
