Before you start working with an employerYou should check and confirm with your employer that they are able to offer you 2nd visa qualifying work before you start the employment. The 2nd year visa can be applied for up to your 31st birthday (36 for Canada and Ireland.)

WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED 88 DAYS OF QUALIFYING WORK
After you have completed the required period of work you will need to make an application to the Australian Department of Immigration.

CREATING YOUR IMMI ACCOUNT
Setting up an Immi account is the first stage of being able to submit an online application for your 2nd working holiday visa. The Immi account is an online portal that will enable you to submit to the Australian Department of Immigration the information they need to validate and authorise your 2nd visa application.
When you have completed 88 days or more of qualifying work in rural Australia you will need to complete the application online and be ready to upload digital scanned copies of: 1. Payslips and other information from your employer 2. Form 1263 signed and completed by your employer Please remember that not every rural employer is able to provide work that qualifies for the 2nd working holiday visa. It is important that you check this 1. Create the ImmiAccount
2. Make your application Once you have set up an account, you will have access to a portal where you can manage your applications, payments from your employers* and groups. You can start an application for a 2nd year visa via the portal: start by clicking ‘new application’NB *you will need to upload your payslips and other employment information from your employer as evidence of your work so make sure that you keep these records from your employer. |
