PATHWAY TO FARM WORK PROGRAMMES
​
Farm and rural employment in rural and outback Australia is a unique and adventurous environment.
There are great opportunities to earn, save, learn and develop skills and gain new experiences. 
This can include '88 day' 2nd visa qualifying work, and 6 month 3rd visa qualifying work.  
Programmes provide services, care and support from the moment you arrive in Australia, and are for either 4 or 12 months. 

COMING FROM OVERSEAS OR IN AUSTRALIA ALREADY?
Choose between our '365 DAY / 12 MONTH' or the '4 MONTH' programme. 
​In Australia already? You may only need our 4 MONTH BASIC  programme.

Extended working adventure programme
This programme can support you throughout your stay in Australia, from arrival to heading back home. 
This can lead to a series of 2-3 jobs during the year, and can lead to work in all kinds of environments.
This can be a pathway to 2nd visa qualification. ​
FARMTRACK 4 MONTH - Farm work starter programme & 88 day 2nd VISA pathway
​This shorter programme is designed to get you started in Australia; set up for work and working for 3-4 months. 
This can be a guaranteed pathway to 2nd visa qualifying work. This normally leads to one job only. ​
FARMTRACK 4 MONTH BASIC - IN AUSTRALIA ALREADY
FARMTRACK 4 MONTH BASIC - IN AUSTRALIA ALREADY
Farm work starter programme & 88 day 2nd VISA pathway if you arrived independently in Australia
This shorter programme is designed to get you working for 3-4 months, and assumes that you have arrived independently and got yourself organised for work here in Australia. The welcome and set up services are not included. This can be a guaranteed pathway to 2nd visa qualifying work. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED in the programmes - details​
PRE-DEPARTURE ADVICE
When you join our programmes from overseas we will be able to advise you how to prepare for a successful and fulfilling trip.
This may include visas, insurance, skills and qualifications, personal preparedness, money saving services and tips, and general advice for parents.

WELCOME AND SET UP SERVICES
  • This includes meeting at Brisbane Airport if required, and transfer to the hostel.   
  • Hostel Accommodation in central Brisbane. (5 nights)
  • Administration and set up for work in Australia. 
  • Welcome meal with your farm training group. ​Brisbane based adventure activities. 

WORKER PROFILE CREATION AND PROMOTION.
Before your arrival we create a detailed online profile. This is promoted to our growing extensive network of trusted employers.
We will share information about employers who have roles that suit you, and actively assist with communication and liaison until you have a role that suits you.  ​

Our unique "FARM WORK PREPARATION COURSE' (5 days, 4 nights) 
We will transfer you to our training farm, 'Hidden Gold Homestead' 3 hours from Brisbane.
For the next 4 days and nights you will stay there and be introduced to Aussie farm life, gaining practical skills and experience of livestock, farm, vehicles and machinery, equipment, horse handling, workplace requirements, expectations, communications and safety.
​We will be able to assess your skills, develop them and get a clear picture of your aims and hopes for your work in Australia.

5. FULL BACK UP AND SUPPORT
Our services include a full back up and support for the duration of your programme (4 or 12 months).​ So if you ever need advice or help with anything, we are right there for you. ​

Bookings may be made by applicants already in Australia if places are available.   ​

  • INSIDE-OUTSIDE: FARMWORK INCLUDING AU-PAIR, CHILDCARE, DOMESTIC, COOKING
  • HOSPITALITY AND AGRITOURISM ROLES: TOURISM, HOSPITALITY AND GENERAL DUTIES
You may choose to focus on work of a particular type if you have previous and relevant skills or experience. 
Many jobs require a varied set of skills and ability. 
​At first work is most likely to be offered in areas that match your existing skills and experience.
It is expected that you will learn and develop new skills quickly once you are working. 
If you are new to farm work it is best to be flexible about the types of work you are willing to do.
