Most funds will ask how you want your super invested, for example:
Balanced (default for most people)
High growth
Conservative
DIY / multiple options
If you’re unsure, choosing the default option is totally fine.

3. Choose insurance (optional but common)
Many funds offer:
Life insurance
Total & Permanent Disability (TPD)
Income Protection

You can:
Accept the default cover
Reduce it
Or opt out

4. Review and submit
Before submitting:
Check your details
Read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS)
Agree to terms & conditions
Then hit Submit / Join now

5. Receive confirmation
After signing up:
You’ll get a member number
Confirmation email or letter
Instructions to create an online login
Keep your member number safe — you’ll need it.
