482 Temporary Skills Shortage Sponsored Visa 
This programme is designed to enable young people with specific skills and experience to gain employment for up to 2 years in Australia if their professional area is listed on the Australian short term skilled occupations list, and providing that the employer is unable to find an appropriately skilled young Australian. 

Our nationwide membership network of employers includes many employers who can not find the skilled and motivated workers they require within Australia.

This creates an opportunity for suitably qualified young people from overseas to take well paid employment in their specialist field here in Australia, to gain experience and develop their skills in preparation for the next stage of their career on their return home.  ​

Sectors
The visa is available in a wide range of Agricultural sectors. 

Duration 
The visa is available for periods of employment up to 2 years 

Application process
Stage 1 - APPLICATION (takes approximately 1 month) 

1. Complete the initial application form for the programme
2. Complete a telephone or skype interview with VisitOz staff
3. Complete the full application form (which will include reference checks) 
4. VisitOz will promote your profile to and identify potential employers
5. VisitOz will put you directly in contact with employers who express an interest in sponsoring you
6. If the employment situation is positive a provisional offer of employment will be made

Stage 2 - NOMINATION AND SPONSORSHIP (can take up to 4 months) 

1. The employer will complete the nomination process for your sponsorship
2. You will complete the Visa application process
3. Employment will be confirmed with the employer and you will travel to Australia

Stage 3 - SERVICES IN AUSTRALIA

1. Documentation set up service (included)
2. Full support as required for the duration of the Visa (included)
3. Welcome and arrival service includes meeting and 4 day acclimatisation / jet lag recovery period (optional at extra cost) 
4. 5 day introduction to Australian farm work course (optional at extra cost) 

Programme and Visa Costs
Programme cost $1,500 (Australian Dollars)
Visa application fee $1,175 (paid separately to the Australian Government)

Stage 1 - Initial payment of $500 (non refundable)
Stage 2 - Final payment of $1,000 on completion of the visa application process and grant of the visa.  
Stage 3 - In country services will be paid for at time of confirmation of booking details.
